We reaffirm our commitment to the Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries for the Decade 2001-2010, adopted by the Third United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, held in Brussels from 14 to 20 May 2001, and the Global Programme of Action for the Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States.3 International support for those efforts, including technical assistance and through United Nations operational activities for development, is indispensable.
